The goal of this project was to create a proper complaint letter to a Company of our choice. I chose to write to Sony Electronics about a faulty Playstion 2 part. I enjoyed writing a letter that I thought sounded professional and looked proper.

To Whom It May Concern:
Hello, I have been a long time customer of yours and have used your product for many years with no major problems, until now. 8 weeks ago I bought a Playstation 2 console for Christmas and in it’s 3rd week of running, disks started failing to read. I purchased many different cleaning products to try and clean the console as best I could. I also tried to use the same disks on other consoles like mine and they worked perfectly fine.
I am just curious if this is a common thing for you systems and if it is possible for you to replace it. If neither of those options are possible, do you have any advice you could give me on trying to fix my PS2 myself? Also, do you know the price range for fixing this type of problem?
In closing, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I am simply looking for some answers on how to fix my problem and trying to make you company aware of this issue so it is corrected for future customers. I wish your company well in the future and I hope that the amount of mistakes like this are minimal.
